Hi, this is Joan. This is episode 28 of The Prosperity Show. It's nice to have you here today, and I guess you can hear from the intro that I'm back on my regular machine. We've solved the computer problems, now I just have to deal with my eye, and I'll be fine. Today we're going to talk about recognizing and releasing your need to debt. But before we get to that, there's a couple things I'd like to mention. First of all, if you need to get in touch with me it's Joan@theprosperityshow.com, or you can call our voice mail line at 206-888-4357. That's 206-888-4357. I'd love to hear from you. Also, I'm going to be changing the structure of my coaching and if you want to get in a session or two at the current structure and price, you're going to have to do it soon. So I suggest you go to prosperityplace.com and check out the coaching page, and if you decide to fill out the pre-coaching questionnaire, then we can have a quick conversation at no charge and see if it's right for you. Within one or two sessions I can really help you recognize the emotional stuff that you're acting out through your money, and give you a plan for changing that.
So today we're going to talk about recognizing and releasing your need to debt. Now, it may seem like an odd thing to say that you have a need to debt. But if you're debting and if you're in debt and you find yourself getting out of debt and then getting back into debt, or you've been in debt for, on some level most of your adult life, then you have a need to debt, otherwise you wouldn't be debting. It looks to you like you just need more money. To me it looks like you need to debt. Because remember, your money situation is just your way of acting out a whole lot of feelings that are inside of you. Now with money, whether it's debting or anything else, the way you find out what you're acting out through your money, and why you need that particular financial situation, whether it's debting, or under-earning, or you're constantly betrayed by people financially, whatever your pattern is, what you say to yourself is, "what does this situation make me feel?" And then you can figure out why you need that situation. Because what you're doing is you're creating life stories that allow you to act out, to bring forth, to express a whole bunch of emotions that are stuck deep inside of you. That's all it's about. And the need to debt, particularly, is often about acting out feelings of shame, embarrassment...
