Hi, this is Joan and this is episode 17 of The Prosperity Show. Thanks for stopping by. Our main site is prosperityplace.com, where you can find lots of information that can help you improve your relationship with money and yourself. Because your relationship with money really does have a lot to do with your relationship with yourself. In the last Prosperity show we talked about starting to feel your money feelings, and how to go about that. And beginning to let them go so that you don't have to express these old feelings through your money, and you can begin to develop a different emotional base, so that you're coming from a different place. If you don't feel good about your money, if you're worried about your money, you're probably worried about other things in your life, too. It's really difficult to have a really terrific life while you're worrying about your money, while you're angry about what's going on. Your money's just a reflection of everything that's going on inside of you. And what I'm trying to help people see is that your money is just an extension of everything else about you. So if you worry about your worry, then your head is probably in the future, or possibly even in the past, and you're missing the life that you could be living now. When you're spending time worrying about your money, you are in the future, and the future doesn't exist. You're making it up in your head. So you might as well make up a better story. When you have money feelings that really pull you down, it's probably stuff about the past, which just exists in your mind. The past, it's a fairy tale, it's what you're making up in your head. And you have the right to make something different, and develop emotional attitude towards life. It's almost as if every person has a song that they sing in a different tone. Some people sing very sad dirges all the time. Other people are pretty happy. But often with the happy, underneath is this sadness, or anger that they're carrying with them. My goal is to help you really be free. More money's not going to make you free. Being free from all the stuff that you've got inside of you pulling you down, that's what's keeping you from feeling free. And so, what we're doing is we're focusing on money, but it really has to do with so much more about your, than just the money. It's really about your entire life. So last time I suggested that when you go shopping during this Christmas season, that you really begin to notice your feelings, how you feel in the store, how you feel when you're paying for something. Have you ever handed a salesperson some cash or your credit card and gotten this gripping feeling around your heart when you're getting a, perhaps a sweater that's a little too expensive, or something that you think that you really shouldn't get? Well, what's that feeling... |
