Listen to this podcast
Greetings all you lucky ones, as JC would say. It's another edition of Business Success Tips. Tonight we've got some of the usual characters, i.e., Paul.
We've got Andy.
We have a special guest star, Tim.
Hello, Tim. So in, and you know, you think about it, that JC wasn't at the last podcast because it was, you know,
Monday Night Football.
But you know it's a week later,
And still's Monday Night and he's still watching football.
The Giants still won, I'll bet.
See, this way a football game will last two weeks. Cause we do two of these an evening. So we have a special guest here, Tim.
Tim has lots of talents and among a couple of them he is a producer, right?
Yes, that's right.
And you are an artist.
And so, would you quit the sir thing, like geez-us. Anyhow, and he is like, he is an engineer and he does a lot of stuff. So Tim has a new album out. We're going to try our ability to promote something with our 600 listeners. Maybe they'll go out and buy it. Can they get it off your website?
They certainly can.
And what is your website?
Ok Tim, now this is a test if we can actually sell something through our podcast.
Hint. Hint. So go ahead, they shouldn't have to buy it unless they've listened to some of it, so Tim, we're going to play a segment of your album for our listening audience out there. Andy, can you pull that one off? Ok. We're waiting.
Now just be patient.
You're not talking to a microphone, that way nobody can hear you.
Ok. Here is Tim Gennert with his new, what's the name of this, Tim?
OK, now Tim, you wrote all these songs?
Yes, I did.
You did. And I Dream, can you tell me a little about, I feel like a regular
Actually, I have to say something, I think it is so awesome for anybody to be able to do that. I mean there's so many steps involved. I'm not a musician, so to be able to write, to be able to come up with lyrics, to be able to find people that can play, to be able to put a recording together, to mix it, and to put it on a CD, and there's even an album cover and a printed label on it. It's unbelievable.
It looks very professional, too.
And it's very professional.
And Tim did the whole
Hey Tim, just how much, for a person who'd like to do this on their own, how much money, now, you actually have your own recording studio, which most people don't. And you have you're, you know, a sound engineer for almost 25 years, which almost nobody is, but say the average person wants to say, hey, I want to do a CD, you know? I mean, what's it going to cost them to actually have it come to life if they try to do...
