Welcome back to your Debt Podcast, today is Monday, January 2, 2006. It's the second day of your resolution to take control of your wallet. I'm Jay Fleischman and thanks for staying subscribed. First up, a bit of housekeeping. The listener feedback line I gave out at last show was incorrect. The correct number is 206-202-5231. I apologize to everybody who called and got a message saying that the number was out of order. No, we didn't go anywhere, it's just some pre-holiday brain freeze. So today is the second day of 2006, and many of you made a New Year resolution to get out of debt and increase your personal financial position. So we here at the Debt Podcast are going to give you a hand. Every day we're going to be giving out a resolution helper. And here's how we're going to do it. Each day your pod-catching client will download a quick resolution helper of no more than five minutes. Now that's going to be business days only, so if you don't do a download on Saturday and Sunday, you're not going to miss anything, and on Mondays you won't have three instead of one. No charge for this of course, no charge for anything we do here at the Debt Podcast, so what do we ask from you in return?

Well, there ain't no such thing as a free lunch, that's what they say. So we need you to do two things for us. Don't worry, neither of them takes long. They're both free, it's not going to cost you any money. Just a little bit of time. First, go to the show notes, Debt Podcast, and click on the right side to vote for us on Podcast Alley. Since July, we've done a bunch of shows, we've gotten a lot of great listeners from all over the country, and ton of great feedback. I've never felt comfortable begging for Podcast Alley votes. A lot of podcasters do it, I don't. But let's face it, it's important to keep the exposure of the show as high as possible. The more people who know about us, the more who find out about us. It's vital marketing folks, and I need your help. So give me a hand, let's tell everybody about the Debt Podcast.

That brings me to the second thing I'd like for you to do for me in return...
